My name is Lindsey Honari and my executive coaching and career consulting began with a summer job. As a student at Columbia Business School, I worked in the admissions office to help offset the high cost of New York living. I read applications, gave presentations, interviewed applicants and provided feedback to those who were not accepted. It was a little bit of recruiting, a little bit of marketing, a little bit of problem solving, and a whole lot of relationship building. I loved it.
In fact, I loved it so much that I sought out more. When I started my career on Wall Street, I began coaching friends and work colleagues. With my skills and experience, I soon became a resource for my company, advising others on their career progression.
After I became a mother, I began to coach other professional women on how and when to step back into their careers. Before long, their husbands—and their colleagues—were seeking me out as well for executive and career coaching. This is the origin of my coaching business, which I officially launched in 2007.
Along the way, I saw an opportunity to offer even more to my clients. So I went back to school and now hold a Graduate Certificate in Executive and Professional Coaching. I am also a certified member of the International Coaching Federation and hold the ACC designation.
Add to that my Columbia Business School degree, more than a decade of Wall Street and professional experience, and my own role as an entrepreneur. What you get is practical, thoughtful, and empathetic partnership as your coach.
